DF essentially proved that you could run Ratchet with 1/5 the speed (with the co-processors probably doing the heavy lifting).

WEBJun 8, 2021 · IIRC that had a base resolution of 1080p with DRS and TI applied. If the IGN review is true then they were able to get it up to a 1440p with DRS and TI applied, which should present a much cleaner and much better final image. Miles Morales was also 1440p with DRS at that mode.

They were going for a ratchet-like experience and for myself, I think they succeeded. Of course, this isn't a AAA budget game but still the core gameplay is good and it "feels" right when playing.

Its not just about the SSD its also about the I/O speed which has a maximum speed of 17.38GB/s thanks to its use of kraken compression. We've just rarely seen the actual potential of the console yet because so few games have been as optimized for the PS5 as Ratchet.
