I haven't noticed HE detergent being rough on clothing. I've decided I'm going to get a Speed Queen washer. The three year warranty is amazing! According to reviews, these machines last forever.

WEBJul 4, 2008 · I used it wet, but you can use it as a dry mop too. I bought mine with terry cloth covers, but you can buy microfiber covers as well. With the terry cloth covers I filled a bucket with hot water and floor cleaner, (I used vinegar). Dip and wring out the covers several times as you mop. I washed the covers in the washing machines when done.

It isn't a big deal, because on my sink even the small side is the depth of a traditional sink. It works great to have this option.

WEBJul 24, 2010 · No - it's not you - it's those darn HE machines. I can't even use the powdered stuff that is labled HE - it just doesn't work. I try to buy the cheapest HE liquid out there - but it is still more expensive than the regular detergent. Think of it this way, though - you are using less water, and your dry times (electric or gas bill) are much shorter.

I found these at a barn sale and couldn't resist rescuing them. 😉 I washed them in the washing machine, cleaned them with vinyl doll cleaner and a Magic Eraser, dressed them in clothes I already had, and did their hair (except 'lil bald guy).
