Probably not as the exhibition is largely exhibits which are explained through an audio guide. Having said this, you could take a very quick tour through without the audio guide, and allow yourself (and your toddler) to be fascinated by some of Singapore's Chinese History.
hello, just asking , how long does one usually spend in this centre ?

We were there for about 2 hours, as we did the tour with the guide who was dressed in the traditional costume of days gone by. It was extremely interesting and well worth the visit.

Not really shopping, there are items available to purchase I highly recommend a $3 book which outlines everything you would have seen at the heritage centre a great moments. Outside the centre is Chinatown which is full of trinkets and treasures.
