This 1886 Queen Anne home features original Eastlake influenced woodwork, period furnishings, and exotic hardwood fireplace mantels. Begin your tour at the Carriage House Visitor Center (located behind the house on the corner of 7th & Exchange Streets), which houses additional exhibits, the museum store, and orientation video.

What is the cost of tickets to see the Flavel museum?

Not sure but it is worth the price! We were there in December so the grounds were not very pretty but pictures shows the grounds to be beautiful in the spring or summer.
I have COPD and use oxygen. Will I trouble with the stairs; I understand there are 30 steps. Thanks for any reply. Rick

My husband has trouble with stairs so he didn't go to the second floor, but the first floor is very interesting, so you won't be disappointed if that is all you see. The carriage house has an interesting movie about the history of the house and a nice gift shop. Also actual carriages from that era.
I do not know if they are open tomorrow. They only serve tea to cruisers who have signed up for the tea and scones excursion. The museum is open daily but not for tea.
