Tyrone is a town in Schuyler County, New York, United States. The population was 1,650 at the 2020 census. The town of Tyrone is in the northwest part of the county and is east of Bath. The "Lamoka Culture" people lived in the area up to about 1300 BCE. The Lamoka site is a National Historic Landmark.
