We did a great walk through Golden Gate Park and along the Lands End Trail ending at Baker Beach, gorgeous view along the way but some of the best of GGB at the end from Baker Beach. Full review by Sarah G

The Muni Bus line 29 takes you most directly to Baker Beach, the bus line terminates there. The line runs from early mornings to right around midnight, 7 days a week.

There is parking on the cliffs above which I would imagine you could park for the day but no to sleep over night.
