Dua Lipa has announced the cancellation of a concert scheduled for this Saturday evening in Jakarta, Indonesia, telling fans the decision “truly pains” her. The English/Albanian singer was due to perform as part of the Asian leg of her global tour for her third album Radical Optimism.

Dua Lipa shared a message for fans after canceling her Radical Optimism tour stop in Jakarta, Indonesia, on Nov. 9 due to safety concerns about the stage, saying it “truly pains” her not to perform.

The 29-year-old pop star was due to perform in Jakarta on Saturday but pulled out the night before over safety issues at the capital's 16,500-seat Indonesia Arena.

The day before Dua Lipa was to perform in Indonesia, she shared a "heartbroken" announcement about unforeseen safety issues.

Dua Lipa was forced to cancel a gig on Saturday (09.11.24) due to safety concerns. The 'Levitating' hitmaker had arrived in Indonesia for her 'Radical Optimism' show at the Indonesia Arena in Jakarta but was left "gutted" when she was advised the performance couldn't go ahead because of problems with the staging.

Dua Lipa faced some troubles while in Indonesia. Via E! News, the singer shared on her Instagram Story on Nov. 8 that her show in Jakarta would be canceled on Nov. 9, citing fears of the stage being too dangerous for performing.
