Funcom's survival MMO based on the Dune universe was first announced back in 2022, but it's finally releasing in May of 2025, and we're pretty excited to see the spice begin to flow on Arrakis

The open world, multiplayer survival game set on Arrakis will come to Steam on May 20! Players can begin their journey today by diving into the brand-new Character Creation & Benchmark Mode, available now through Steam.

Dune: Awakening officially launches on May 20, 2025, but the expansive Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (yeah, I'm just saying MMORPG from now on) is arriving exclusively via the Steam platform. If you remember hearing that Dune: Awakening is also supposed to release on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5, then you would be correct.
