Several Hollywood movies and TV series are in production in Hungary, where legislation banning Pride events has been enshrined into the constitution.

Hungary's governing party is set to push constitutional changes through parliament on Monday targeting LGBTQ+ people and what the government calls "foreign-funded political pressure networks" that undermine the country's sovereignty.

Since his return to power in 2010, Hungary’s leader has widely restricted the rights of the LGBTQ community, the media, courts and academia. He vowed last month to undertake an “Easter cleanup” against his domestic opponents he has called “stink bugs.”
