A series of social media posts by U.S. Customs and Border Protection have spooked fans ahead of Inter Miami’s match against Egypt’s Al Ahly at the Hard Rock Stadium as part of FIFA’s Club World Cup this Saturday.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is also expected to be at the games, according to local Miami news outlet NBC 6 South Florida and The Athletic. ICE issued a warning to attendees and said people should carry proof of their legal status, NBC 6 reported.

As protests over immigration enforcement raids intensify nationwide and demonstrations are planned in South Florida this weekend, Miami-Dade Sheriff Rosie Cordero-Stutz said she's working to reassure the public about safety and local law enforcement priorities ahead of Saturday's inaugural FIFA Club World Cup match at Hard Rock Stadium.
