Republican Mike Kehoe, who won the race for Missouri governor this week, acknowledged that some residents were uncomfortable with the state’s near-total abortion ban. He said that lawmakers are still discussing how they'll respond to the passage of Amendment 3.

Fourteen hours after the race was called, Governor-Elect Mike Kehoe laid out his plans for building his cabinet and pursuing policy initiatives he touted during his campaign. “We’re excited to actually get out and start governing,” Kehoe said. “It’s a new world for me because I’m not used to people catering to me.”
