Half a decade after Channing Tatum's standalone Gambit movie was officially canceled, the X-Men hero sprung back onto the scene as part of Deadpool and Wolverine and its Void's worth of fan favorite surprises and cameos. Now, star Ryan Reynolds says Marvel Studios is "obsessed" with Gambit.

After nearly 20 years, Channing Tatum might finally get his solo Marvel outing, thanks to a little help from pal Ryan Reynolds. Following Tatum’s appearance as Gambit in Deadpool & Wolverine, Reynolds teased that Marvel executives are “obsessed” with the performance and he has “hope” for Gambit’s onscreen future.
