The Arizona Diamondbacks came away with a big series win over the Milwaukee Brewers, taking two of three at home despite being outscored 13-10 overall and leading for a mere three total innings. Such is baseball, and such is the chaotic nature of the Diamondbacks.

The veteran southpaw tossed 50 of 80 pitches for strikes in his 2025 debut after signing a one-year deal with the Brewers in early March and needing some extra time to get ramped up, and he didn't allow a runner to get past first base until his final inning of work.

Milwaukee left-hander Jose Quintana pitched seven scoreless innings in his team and season debut as the Brewers shut out the Arizona Diamondbacks 7-0 in Phoenix on Friday.
