Authorities swept in with flash-bangs and tear gas grenades to disperse hundreds of protesters in Los Angeles.

Protestors in over a dozen cities are set to demonstrate their solidarity with those arrested by federal agents in California over the weekend.

Demonstrators have "ignited" vehicles in downtown Los Angeles, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. In a statement posted on X, the LAPD said it was "attempting to enter the area to extinguish the fire".
