Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Bryan Reynolds left Tuesday night's 7-3 loss to the Detroit Tigers in the second inning when his wife went into labor, and the veteran was replaced by Alexander Canario in right field.

Báez tied the game at 3 with a 407-foot solo homer in the fifth off a hanging curveball from Pirates lefty starter Bailey Falter. He added another in the seventh, crushing a 410-foot shot to nearly the same spot off reliever Carmen Mlodzinski to extend the Tigers’ lead.

Its Tuesday, June 17 and the Pirates (29-44) are in Detroit to take on the Tigers (46-27). Bailey Falter is slated to take the mound for Pittsburgh against Casey Mize for Detroit.
