NFL Hall of Fame member Shannon Sharpe has resolved a lawsuit that accused him of sexually assaulting a woman during their relationship, her attorney said Friday.

A $50-million lawsuit that accused Shannon Sharpe of rape has been settled. 'All matters have now been addressed satisfactorily, and the matter is closed,' the accuser's attorney said.

A lawyer for the woman, who had sought $50 million in damages, said both sides acknowledged a “consensual and tumultuous relationship.”
