Parental controls to block explicit lyrics and video content are finally coming to Spotify. But it might be a while before we can actually use them.

This new section brings a host of new controls to the app that lets parents control the content that their kids can access in the Spotify app.

Spotify has rolled out in-app parental controls for users under 13 on family plans, starting with a pilot in Denmark, New Zealand, and Sweden. The new "managed accounts" feature lets parents restrict explicit content and choose specific artists or tracks their children can access.
