Tiger Woods shows true colors as he discloses status for upcoming TGL season
Tiger Woods has been battling injuries and surgeries throughout 2025 after tearing his Achilles after the inaugural TGL campaign, and he has shed light on his availability for the second season
Tiger Woods told reporters he remains hopeful about a return to golf following his latest back surgery, but the 15-time major winner admitted there’s no timetable.
Woods shared a health update Tuesday in the Bahamas, but he doesn't know when he'll return to competition from October back surgery.
The Masters is six months removed from his latest back surgery and may give us an idea of whether we'll see Woods play at all during the 2025 PGA Tour season. In the meantime, he's not willing to put a timetable on anything and seems to understand the importance of getting his back to full strength before pushing for another return.
Woods has been cleared by doctors to chip and putt, but said that he will be missing the first half of the TGL season, which starts Dec. 28.
Behind the scenes, Tiger Woods has been one of the busiest people in golf the past year, even though he hasn't been playing competitively.
