China and Russia reached "broad consensus" on a range of issues during the Chinese foreign minister's trip to Moscow this week, amid a burst of diplomatic efforts to end the war in Ukraine and as Beijing seeks to rally support in a row with Tokyo.

Emmanuel Macron said the trip was a sign of mutual trust and a desire to "act together" at a time when international tensions are rising.

When asked to comment on claims that China-produced weapons appeared in Russian hands as Ukraine defense force earlier claimed that a set of China-produced Type-63 multiple-launch rocket system used by Russian military was destroyed in Ukraine and whether China will investigate how these weapons appeared on Ukrainian battlefield as known by all that China does not provide military support to Russia,
