Police have arrested a suspect in a shooting at the University of New Mexico campus Friday that left one person dead and another injured. The university campus in Albuquerque, N.M., was under a shelter-in-place order following the shooting in a student apartment building. The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. Friday, New Mexico State Police said.
The University of New Mexico Police Department says it's investigating a shooting incident on the main campus in Albuquerque. It says it happened around 3 a.m. Friday at the Casas del Rio student housing center on Redondo Drive. Campus police are asking everyone to avoid the area until further notice.
