Vanderbilt women's basketball will take on Virginia in the SMU/ACC Challenge. The 14th-ranked Commodores (8-0) host the Cavaliers (6-2) on Dec. 3 (4 p.m. CT, SEC Network) at Memorial Gymnasium.

Barring President Trump putting into action Diego Pavia's plea to "make the executive order" and expand the College Football Playoff, the Commodores, who are 10-2 and ranked No. 14 in the latest CFP rankings, likely will be left out of the 12-team tournament when the field is announced Dec. 7.
