President Donald Trump is committed to providing Americans a $2,000 check using money that has come into government coffers from Trump's tariffs, the White House said on Wednesday.

In a post to Truth Social, President Donald Trump declared, “A dividend of at least $2,000 a person (not including high-income people!) point, close parentheses, will be paid to everyone.”
