The Screen Actors Guild has announced the 2026 nominations for the Actor Awards (formerly the SAG Awards) and there are a few welcome surprises as well as continued award season favorites.

Nominations for the awards are now open. The theme of the event is “A Century of Black History Commemorations: Celebrate. Educate. Elevate.” “The prestige of this award is that it is community-nominated and not just selected from those here at A-State,” said Ian Buchanan, chair of the Living Legends Awards committee.
