The 2025 College Football Playoff field was announced on Sunday. The first game of the 2025 College Football Playoff is between No. 9 Alabama (10-3, 6-2) and No. 8 Oklahoma (10-2, 6-2) at Memorial Stadium in Norman, Oklahoma, on Dec. 19 (8 p.m. EST, ABC).

As the college football world gears up for the Playoff, ESPN announced where it will be sending its road show, “College GameDay,” for the first round of matchups. For you D-FW folks: It wouldn’t be a long trip to check out Kirk Herbstreit, Nick Saban, Pat McAfee and crew live and in person.

ESPN announced where College Gameday would broadcast from for the first round CFP games and neither location was Oxford.

College GameDay will first be traveling to Norman, Okla. on Dec. 19 for the first-round matchup between No. 8 Oklahoma and No. 9 Alabama. This will mark the second time that the GameDay crew heads to Oklahoma this season, after previously traveling to the Sooners for their home win over Michigan on Sep. 6.

ESPN's 'College GameDay' is headed back to Norman. The show will be filmed on site Friday, Dec. 19 ahead of the OU-Alabama game.

During a recent appearance on the “SVPPod”, Stanford Steve appeared to reveal the network’s plans for “College GameDay” for the first two games of the playoff.

ESPN announced where 'College GameDay' will be for the upcoming college football conference championship games in Week 15.

"College GameDay" is traveling to Eugene, Ore., for Oregon's home game vs. USC in Week 13 of the college football season. The show will air from 9 a.m. ET to noon (6 a.m. to 9 a.m. PT). "College GameDay" will air live on ESPN, with streaming options available on the ESPN app or Fubo, which offers a free trial.
