"Dilbert" was removed from 77 newspapers this week, its author said, citing a move by Lee Enterprises to get rid of several comics across its many publications.
Adams and the strip have walked tightropes before. UPN canceled a cartoon version of "Dilbert" after two seasons in 2000, and Adams later said the show was discarded because he's white.
