An electric scooter rider was seriously injured after colliding with a vehicle near Main Street Park in Cedar City on Monday, police said.

A Cottonwood man died over the weekend when the electric scooter he was riding collided with a pickup in Cottonwood. The collision happened at the intersection of Gas Point Road and Park Drive around 10 p.m. Saturday, the California Highway Patrol said.
