The NHC in Florida is tracking storms Fay and Gozalo in the Atlantic as a nor'easter impacts the Northeast and hurricanes threaten Hawaii and Mexico.

Gonzalo was a tropical storm in the North Atlantic Ocean Friday afternoon Eastern time, the National Hurricane Center said in its latest advisory. Gonzalo is the seventh named storm to form in the Atlantic in 2026.

At 11 a.m. ET, the center of Tropical Storm Fay was located near latitude 29.8 North, longitude 41.2 West. Fay is moving toward the west near 6 mph. A generally westward motion with some decrease in forward speed is expected over the next few days.
