Nigel Farage has claimed he could be "useful as an interlocutor" between the Labour Government and Donald Trump following the Republican's US election victory.

Nigel Farage, leader of Reform UK and longtime ally of Donald Trump, shared a picture with Barron Trump and praised the 18-year-old.

Despite being a political opponent to Britain’s center-left Labour government as leader of the Reform UK party, Farage has said he would be willing to help build bridges with the U.S. for the U.K.’s “future survival.”

The Reform UK leader – a close ally of Mr Trump and the only UK politician who was at his Palm Beach home on election night - described Mr Trump as a “pro-British American president”. He claimed the Republican politician would give the UK “potentially huge opportunities if we can overcome the difficulties that the whole of the cabinet have been rude about him”.

Speaking to the PA news agency at a Reform event near Exeter, Mr Farage described Mr Trump as a “pro-British American president” who gives the UK “potentially huge opportunities if we can overcome the difficulties that the whole of the Cabinet have been rude about him”.
