Pricing remains a mystery for now, but per Bloomberg, LG is aiming for a competitive price point with Samsung. Currently, the 55-inch Frame TV sells for $1,499.99, and the 65-inch model adds $500 to the price tag. LG’s TV will likely be in that same ballpark in terms of pricing.
No sooner than January comes around and we're straight back into it for the biggest event in the consumer tech calendar. CES is back once more for the 2026 edition – with CES 2026 representing the 102nd anniversary for its organising body, the CTA – and the world's greatest technology show promises to be full of major reveals.
The idea is that by using smaller red, blue, and green LEDs, Micro RGB TVs will not only have better color accuracy, they’ll also see less light bleed. Light bleed happens when an LED TV’s backlight leaks from a bright area of an image to a dark area.
Some of Samsung’s new televisions are larger than what was once considered standard, with a few measuring around 100 inches or more. “Super big screens continue to be the fastest-growing TV segment and the market is expected to double in 2026,” the company told reporters last month ahead of Sunday’s announcement.
