Scooby-Doo, where are you? Well, it's not going to be too long before he's at Netflix. The streamer has ordered eight episodes of a live-action "Scooby-Doo" origin series.

Jinkies! " Scooby-Doo " is getting a live-action series. Netflix announced Wednesday that it is collaborating with Warner Bros. Television to develop a modern reimagining of the beloved mystery-solving group of teens and their very special dog in a live-action series format.

Netflix has confirmed details about the brand-new live-action Scooby-Doo series. Last year, it was reported that a new show, written by Josh Appelbaum (the Michael Bay Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles films) and Scott Rosenberg (the revived Jumanji films), was "nearing a deal" at the streaming service.
