The BBC and ITV have agreed a new four-year broadcast deal for the Six Nations, which will remain on free-to-air television in the United Kingdom, organisers announced on Friday.

The Six Nations will remain on free-to-air in the UK for the next four years after a landmark deal was struck with ITV and BBC, Telegraph Sport understands.

The Six Nations will be staying free to air through to 2029 after the announcement of a brand new TV deal. There had been questions over whether the annual spring rugby championship would be moving behind a paywall from next season.
