“While walking away, (the suspect) suddenly swung with right hand at the side view mirror of a City of Boston Trash Truck owned by the Department of Parks and Recreation,” the police report states. “This malicious destruction of government property was observed by Officer and Employee who was sitting inside the vehicle.”

Anyway, it appears that no BORG was safe during the Boston St. Patrick’s Day festivities as the police showed off their impressive collection of confiscated drinks with creative names like “US-Mexico BORGer” and “BORGan Wallen.” Props to whoever came up with that one.

The Boston Police Department issued a warning ahead of St. Patrick's Day and the South Boston St. Patrick's Day Parade on Sunday, urging people to watch out for spiked drinks and urging those who've consumed spiked drinks to report the incidents to police.
