The widow of hockey player Matthew Gaudreau, who was killed alongside his brother when they were struck by an alleged drunk driver, has given birth to their son.

Matthew and his brother, Blue Jackets forward Johnny Gaudreau, died after they were hit by an alleged drunk driver in N.J. Both Madeline and Johnny’s widow, Meredith, were pregnant at the time.

Matthew and Johnny Gaudreau, both well-known in the pro hockey community, were killed in a roadside accident in South Jersey back in the summer.
