Rudy Giuliani, a former lawyer for President-elect Donald Trump, will appear in court in Washington on Friday when he faces a second attempt this week to hold him in contempt of court in a case brought by two Georgia election workers he falsely accused of helping to rig the 2020 election.

Rudy Giuliani ’s legal morass has, incredibly, gotten even worse. On Monday the former New York mayor was found in contempt of court for failing to turn over assets to two Georgia election workers he defamed. Manhattan federal judge Lewis Liman said he will rule on “appropriate sanctions” against Giuliani at a later time.
