The Glendale mariscos and steak restaurant El Camaron Gigante was thrust into the spotlight after a shootout in its parking lot killed three people.

An area on the edge of historic downtown Glendale erupted into a cacophony of gunshots the evening of May 4 after a fight that broke out during a crowded dance party at a mariscos and steak restaurant escalated into a shootout in the parking lot,

Security at El Camaron Gigante restaurant removed people who were fighting inside, and shots were fired outside, a Glendale police spokesperson said.
