Gunfire riddled CDC headquarters in Atlanta. A police officer is dead. And the shooter may have blamed a possible illness on vaccines

A police officer was killed after authorities say an active shooter opened fire near the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) headquarters and Emory University's Atlanta campus on Friday afternoon.

The officer who was injured in the shooting on Emory University's campus in Atlanta is dead, Interim Chief Greg Padrick of DeKalb County Police Department said. He died of his injuries from a gunshot wound, Padrick said.
