McLaren's Lando Norris beat home favourite Charles Leclerc to Formula 1 pole position at the Monaco Grand Prix as Mercedes suffered a qualifying disaster.

Charles Leclerc led the field in both Friday free practice sessions, as Formula One hosts the iconic Monaco GP in Monte Carlo. Max Verstappen was at his stunning best to pinch Emilia-Romagna GP victory last weekend, so it was all eyes on how McLaren would respond.
