James Taylor to Join Vice Presidential Candidate Tim Walz at North Carolina Rally
The “You’ve Got a Friend” singer will join Kamala Harris’ vice presidential choice, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, during his rally in Wilmington, North Carolina, on Thursday (Oct. 24). At the event, Walz will speak to state residents about their power to vote, encouraging them to hit the polls early.

The Harris-Walz campaign has prioritized flipping North Carolina from red to blue in November. The state backed Trump in both 2016 and 2020, but President Joe Biden shrunk the margin to around 1 percent in the latter election and Democrats were hopeful Harris and Walz could turn the state blue. Polls show a tight race in the state.
