During his first weekend back in the White House, Trump again visited North Carolina to scope out Helene damage and toured the aftermath of devastating wildfires in Los Angeles. But he also used those trips to sharply criticize the Biden administration and California officials.

A Texas man was arrested on federal charges after an alleged Facebook threat saying “I won’t miss" ahead of Trump’s Kerrville visit after the Fourth of July flash floods.

During his visit to flood-hit Kerrville, Texas, President Trump was asked whether the devastating flash floods could have been better handled. In response, he called the young reporter "evil" for questioning the disaster response.

As ominous storm clouds gather once more over Texas, the desperate search for more than 150 individuals still missing since the catastrophic July 4 floods has now stretched into its second week.
