Orioles minor leaguer Luis Guevara, who died Tuesday, suffered traumatic internal and brain injuries after he was struck by an airborne personal watercraft, according to police.

Luis Guevara, an infielder in the Orioles’ Minor League system, has died, the team announced on Tuesday. He was 19. Guevara was involved in a jet ski crash on Sunday in Sarasota, Fla., where two watercrafts had a head-on collision off Lido Key.
