Martin Truex Jr. is scheduled to run his final NASCAR Cup Series race as a full-time driver Sunday. He will do so from the pole. With a lap at 134.741 mph in the second round of qualifying Saturday (Nov. 9), Truex won the pole for the season finale at Phoenix Raceway. It is his second consecutive pole and the 23rd of his career.

The 2017 Cup Series champion from Mayetta, New Jersey, clocked a pole-winning lap at 134.741 mph in 26.718 seconds, which was enough to start on the pole position in his final event as a full-time Cup Series competitor for the 2024 Championship event at Phoenix.
