LOS ANGELES (AP) — Quinton Byfield had a goal for the fifth consecutive game, Darcy Kuemper made 21 saves, and the Los Angeles Kings beat the Washington Capitals 3-0 on Thursday night. Kevin Fiala had a goal and an assist, Warren Foegele scored, and the Kings won their fourth in a row following a season-high five-game losing streak.

Darcy Kuemper made 21 saves for the Los Angeles Kings in a 3-0 win against the visiting Washington Capitals on Thursday night. It's the 34th career shutout and third of the season for Kuemper, who was traded to the Kings from Washington last June in exchange for forward Pierre-Luc Dubois.

Kevin Fiala and Quinton Byfield score 47 seconds apart early in the third period and Kuemper makes 21 saves as the Kings hold Ovechkin to no shots on goal in a 3-0 win, their fourth straight.
