Zoom is adding cartoonish human avatars to video meetings, for times when you don't want to appear on camera.

Zoom launches its new Avatars feature, which lets its users join video meetings or calls as cute animal cartoons-like how Apple Memojis works.

The new feature, filed under “Avatars” in Zoom’s video background setting options, presents users with a number of animals that they can turn themselves into on their screens.

Zoom Mail will enable end-to-end encryption between Zoom Mail users, and Zoom Calendar will add to the self-hosted services. More Oh, and it wouldn’t be 2023 enough without video meeting avatars.
