A partially empty box of wine was found underneath the passenger seat of Zachary Scott Lee Wydella’s minivan, charges say.

Authorities say a Twin Cities man arrested after a fatal crash Monday evening had a blood alcohol level more than three times the legal limit.

A man who was driving three times over the legal limit has been charged following a crash that killed a woman in Anoka County earlier this week. Zachary Scott Lee Wydella, 37, was charged on Wednesday with two counts of criminal vehicular homicide.

A woman was killed and a man was hospitalized in an Anoka crash on Monday night. The Anoka County Sheriff's Office says the two-vehicle crash happened just after 6:30 p.m. on the 1000 block of North Street, and saw a westbound minivan collide with an eastbound sedan. The woman, who was driving the sedan, died at the scene.

A Coon Rapids man is facing drunk driving charges in connection with a crash that killed a 51-year-old woman in Anoka earlier this week. Zachary Scott Lee Wydella, 37, is charged with two counts of criminal vehicular homicide in Anoka County court.

According to the Anoka County Sheriff's Office, the crash happened near the 1000 block of North Street around 6:30 p.m.
