CHICAGO - A 15-year-old boy was shot and killed in a drive-by shooting Friday night on Chicago’s Southwest Side, authorities said. The shooting happened around 5:10 p.m. in the 2800 block of South Komensky Avenue. Chicago police said the teen was on the sidewalk when someone in a passing vehicle opened fire, striking him multiple times.

A shooting investigation is under after a man was found dead in Chicago's Rosemoor neighborhood on Wednesday morning. Just after 5 a.m, Chicago police said a 33-year-old man was found unresponsive with gunshot wounds in the 10100 block of South Prairie. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
