Amid a series of bomb hoaxes affecting flights in India’s aviation space, at least 85 flights operated by IndiGo, Air India, Vistara, and Akasa Air received similar threats on Thursday, media reports said.

Air India's telecom provider issues may affect customer service access. Both Air India and Akasa Air received security alerts on flights, prompting rigorous safety measures in coordination with authorities.

Around 250 flights operated by Akasa Air, Air India, IndiGo and Vistara, received bomb threats during the last 10 days with 85 flights of the same carriers receiving threats on Thursday.

Among the impacted flights, Akasa Air alone saw 25 of its planes receive such threats, followed by 20 flights each of Air India, Indigo, and Vistara.

Nearly 85 flights received fresh bomb threats on Thursday, including 20 Air India, 20 Indigo, 20 Vistara, and 25 Akasa Air planes.

Gorakhpur Airport responded to a bomb threat on an Akasa Air flight, later deemed a hoax, while another threat was reported for Agra Airport ahead of Diwali.

In a series of bomb threats issued to Indian airlines, 85 new flights of Air India, IndiGo, Vistara and Akasa combined have been issued fresh threats on Thursday. The list includes 20 Air India, 20 Indigo, 20 Vistara and 25 Akasa flights.

About 20 flights each from Air India, Vistara, and IndiGo were affected, while Akasa Air received threats for around 14 flights.

On Thursday, over 70 flights from various Indian airlines were reported to have received bomb threats, leading to significant security responses.
