A box truck crashed into multiple people and a building Monday afternoon in Boston's Chinatown neighborhood not far from Downtown Crossing.

A box truck crashed into a building in Boston's Chinatown neighborhood and then hit several pedestrians in what authorities say appears to have been an accident.

The incident appears to be "a tragic accident," Boston Police Commissioner Michael Cox said, but the investigation is ongoing.
