Christian Horner has reportedly been in contact over a shock return to Formula 1, less than two weeks after his Red Bull departure. Earlier in the month, the F1 world was shaken to its core by the sudden announcement that Horner had been sacked by Red Bull.

LEWIS HAMILTON delivered a brutal, blunt response to Christian Horner’s sacking. The seven-time world champion shrugged off the news in today’s press conference ahead of the Belgium Grand Prix.

French engineer Mekies, previously team principal at Red Bull ’s sister F1 team Racing Bulls, has taken over from Horner and is at the helm this weekend for the Belgian Grand Prix. Mekies previously enjoyed a near-decade stint at Toro Rosso, the old name for Red Bull’s sister team, and also has experience to his name at Ferrari and the FIA.
