OSU Athletics listened to the cry of fans after many were unable to get tickets before they were sold out. Shows will now be added on Thursday and Sunday on that same weekend in April, and students we talked to are pumped.

Fellow Red Dirt music stars Turnpike Troubadours, Stoney LaRue and Jason Boland & The Stragglers will join the reunited Ragweed for all four shows.

It was announced last week that Cross Canadian Ragweed, which disbanded in 2010, was getting back together for a “The Boys from Oklahoma” stadium show with the Turnpike Troubadours. It was initially going to be a one-night-only event, though the door was left open for future Cross Canadian Ragweed shows.

Organizers behind the Cross Canadian Ragweed reunion concerts announced two additional dates after Monday’s presale involved the sort of long waits and high demand usually associated with major acts like Taylor Swift or Oasis rather than the Red Dirt scene.

The reunited Red Dirt band now will play "The Boys from Oklahoma" concerts April 11 and 12 at OSU's Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater.
