Shohei Ohtani pitched an inning for the first time in nearly two years and drove in two runs out of the leadoff spot as the Los Angeles Dodgers earned a 6-3 victory over the visiting San Diego Padres on Monday.

Shoehi Ohtani’s debut wasn’t perfect, but it also could have gone a lot worse. After not pitching in nearly two years, the Japanese right-hander clearly showed signs of rust and lack of command in his first big league action of the season.
